Meaning
We meditate upon the effulgent glory of the divine Sun that illumines the three worlds — may that light awaken our intelligence.
Why chant this
Called the mother of the Vedas. Purifies the intellect, dissolves confusion, and steadies the mind for meditation. Chanted at the three sandhyas (dawn, noon, dusk).
